Terms and conditions

 

 

Rates are per person per bike. Multiple pillion changeovers/rotations are quoted separately.

·Rates are charged per hour or part thereof. Extra time will be charged at the next applicable rate

·Rates are subject to change without prior notice, while the rate quoted for a particular transfer / tour will be honoured.

·Min number of persons: 1 (one)
·Maximum number of persons: 50 (fifty), subject to availability and with adequate notice - min. 3 weeks

·Chauffeur Rides must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

·Time commences from your point of pick up as arranged at the time of booking. Late departures will still finish at the pre-arranged time so as not to inconvenience clients booked in after your ride. Rates assume pick-up in the Cape Town CBD.

Pick-up points at distant locations will be quoted separately.  

·All of our bikes have a maximum safe load limit. Rider and Pillion are included in this limit and if exceeded may be declined in interests of comfort and safety. Please inform us prior to pick-up if in doubt so as to avoid disappointment and loss of fees.

·Helmets for the pillion passenger will be provided by each rider; prior size information is helpful, as riders can carry only a single spare. 

·Passengers are required to wear long pants & enclosed footwear as well as eye protection.

·HDCR reserves the right to refuse a ride to any passenger who is not dressed appropriately in long pants/jeans and enclosed shoes.

·HDCR reserves the right, in the interest of safety, to refuse a ride to any passenger who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund will be given in this case.

·Chauffeur Rides may be cancelled by either party in the event of rain/adverse weather or road conditions and rebooked for another time (24 hours prior notice required).

·All/any tolls, entrance fees and refreshments are for the clients own account.
·Safety: It is the passenger’s responsibility to observe at all times the safety procedures as advised by the rider. He/she will advise you not to touch certain parts of the bikes due to the intense heat and risk of burn. It is the passengers responsibility to adhere to these safety instructions and to ensure your clothing adequately covers your legs and feet at all times during the ride and when near the bike. HDCR takes the utmost amount of care with our passengers but will take no responsibility for any injury suffered because the passenger did not follow these instructions.

·A non-refundable deposit of 20% must be paid to confirm your booking. The balance of payment will be required either on the day as cash or paid by other methods at least 1 working week prior to transfer / tour.
