Terms and conditions

Rates are per person per bike. Multiple pillion changeovers or rotations are quoted separately.
• Rates are charged per hour or part thereof. Extra time will be charged at the next applicable rate.
• Rates are subject to change without prior notice. However, the rate quoted for a particular transfer or
tour will be honoured.
• Minimum number of persons: 1 (one). Maximum number of persons: 50 (fifty), subject to availability and
with adequate notice (minimum 3 weeks).
• Chauffeur rides must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
• Time commences from the arranged pick-up point at the time of booking. Late departures will still finish
at the pre-arranged time so as not to inconvenience subsequent clients. Rates assume pick-up in the
Cape Town CBD. Pick-up points at distant locations will be quoted separately.
• All bikes have a maximum safe load limit. Both rider and pillion are included in this limit. If the limit is
exceeded, the ride may be declined in the interests of comfort and safety. Please inform us prior to
pick-up if you are in doubt, to avoid disappointment and loss of fees.
• Helmets for the pillion passenger will be provided by each rider. Providing size information in advance
is helpful, as riders can carry only a single spare helmet.
• Passengers are required to wear long pants, enclosed footwear, and eye protection.
• HDCR reserves the right to refuse a ride to any passenger who is not dressed appropriately in long
pants/jeans and enclosed shoes.
• HDCR reserves the right, in the interest of safety, to refuse a ride to any passenger who is under the
influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund will be given in this case.
• Chauffeur rides may be cancelled by either party in the event of rain, adverse weather, or unsuitable
road conditions, and rebooked for another time (24 hours’ prior notice required).
• All tolls, entrance fees, and refreshments are for the client’s own account.
• Safety: It is the passenger’s responsibility to observe at all times the safety procedures advised by the
rider. The rider will advise you not to touch certain parts of the motorcycle due to intense heat and the
risk of burns. It is the passenger’s responsibility to adhere to these safety instructions and to ensure
that clothing adequately covers the legs and feet at all times during the ride and when near the
motorcycle. HDCR takes the utmost care with our passengers but accepts no responsibility for any
injury suffered as a result of the passenger failing to follow these instructions.
• A non-refundable deposit of 20% must be paid to confirm your booking. The balance of payment is
required either in cash on the day or by other methods at least one working week prior to the transfer or
tour.
