Short Chauffeured Ride
Duration: Approximately 1–2 hours (no stops), depending on traffic and weather.
Enjoy the spectacular views of Cape Town and its surrounds from the back of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, ridden by one of our experienced chauffeur Riders.
Starting point: V&A Waterfront or your city hotel.
Route highlights:
Leaving the Waterfront, you pass Cape Town Stadium and ride along the Atlantic Seaboard past Mouille Point Lighthouse and through Sea Point, with views of historic Robben Island. On a clear day you may also see hang-gliders launching from Signal Hill. Continue through Clifton and the lively restaurants and beaches of Camps Bay, with Table Mountain and its cable car towering above and the Twelve Apostles mountain range alongside. Past the Twelve Apostles Hotel, you climb toward Hout Bay Harbour, then turn left up to Constantia Nek and descend through the picturesque Constantia wine lands. Passing the well-known Peddlers on the Bend and Tokai Forest, you ride past Pollsmoor Prison (where Nelson Mandela spent the final years of his incarceration). A short, swift run along the Blue Route takes you through Newlands, past the University of Cape Town, Mostert’s Mill and Groot Schuur Hospital (first heuman hart trans plant 1967), before returning to the V&A Waterfront or your hotel with a final view of the harbour.

Medium Chauffeured Ride
Duration: Approximately 4–5 hours with stops, depending on traffic and weather.
Toll fees and refreshments are not included and are for your own account. Chapman’s Peak toll is currently approximately R45 per motorcycle (please check current rates online).
Starting point: V&A Waterfront or your city hotel.
Route highlights:
The same scenic Atlantic Seaboard start as the Short Ride, continuing past Hout Bay Harbour and up Chapman’s Peak Drive with a photo stop at the viewpoint overlooking the harbour. Descend into Noordhoek Village for a coffee stop, then ride around Misty Cliffs with another photo opportunity on Red Hill overlooking Simon’s Town. Return via the False Bay route and Boyes Drive to the V&A Waterfront or your hotel.

Long Chauffeured Ride
Duration: Approximately 7–8 hours with stops, depending on traffic and weather.

Starting point: V&A Waterfront or your city hotel.
Route highlights:
Follow the Medium Ride route as far as Noordhoek and Misty Cliffs, then continue into Cape Point Nature Reserve (optional – check current entrance fees online). Lunch at the Black Marlin (for your own account), followed by a visit to Boulders Beach penguin colony, before returning to the V&A Waterfront or your hotel.
